Stretched sandstone of the Grès d'Artois type differs from porcelain stoneware only by its manufacturing method. This results in large differences in appearance but very few differences in properties.
This production gives the stretched sandstone a coarser texture which gives it a rustic appearance.
It can be used for the floor as well as for the walls; solid and resistant to wear, abrasion and trampling; stain and water resistant, requires no treatment; extremely low porosity, so easy maintenance.
